Gonnason Boats is a good example of a well-done micro site that just about any designer can create and estimate. The flash intro and pre-owned boat database are the only parts of the site that are not basic HTML and they are not integral parts of the rest of the site.
The developer supplied most of the Gonnason Boats media and a few images were taken from their previous site. The current site is a redesign of a site done by an amateur developer. None of the original HTML files were used so the project was estimated as a new job noting that the client would supply most of the media (photography and text).

Gonnason Boats has been using web site designed by an amateur programmer to promote their business. It is time for the company to have professional Internet image. Gonnason Boats needs. A complete redesign of the existing website. A way for employees to be able to update the pre owned vehicles section of the website.
The Opportunity
Gonnason Boats has the opportunity to be able to provide updated information to their customers and viewers about what pre owned inventory and deals they currently have available. We have the following goals for this project. Create cost effective solution for creating & updating an online database for their used inventory of boats snowmobiles and other small watercraft. Create an exciting look and feel for the website using the current logo’s color palette.
Repeat this look throughout the new website.

Following is proposed storyboard diagram for www.gonnasonboats.com. The Gonnason Boats web site will start with visitors viewing short animated introduction followed by entry into the home page. From the home page visitors can click on pages for each of the dealerships major product lines boats jetskis atv’s etc.
There will also be database of used boats for sale that the staff at Gonnasons can update as needed. The site pages will include graphics navigation bars text mail links and web site links yet to be designed.
