I'm confused by all the choices. What do I need?
If you need to write both proposals and contracts the discounted "Proposal Kit Professional" bundle is the best deal. The pro bundle includes the most complete collection of material. If you only need to write a business proposal get a "Proposal Pack". If you only need to write a legal contract get a "Contract Pack".
Do you have a smaller or simpler package?
You can get just the "Proposal Pack Wizard" by itself. This will get you the proposal and contract automation software with a small collection of templates. We do include a core collection of about 60 templates good for writing your basic product and service sales proposals. You will get just as many software features, just not the complete collection of proposal templates or sample proposals. The templates that come with just the Wizard are plain text with no added graphics.
What "Proposal Pack" do I get for my industry?
Get one of the "Proposal Packs". We have spent two decades creating the proposal topics and sample proposals that cover all types of businesses and business situations. There are many choices of "Proposal Pack" products however they are just copies of "Proposal Pack for Any Business" skinned with different colors and logos. Get "Proposal Pack for Any Business" for the most conservative look or get a skinned pack that has a graphic theme that fits your industry.
What is the "right" Proposal Pack for me?
There is no wrong choice and your choice is only one of your own personal taste. There are many "Proposal Packs" to choose from and your choice usually comes down to which one compliments your own business logo and colors. If you do not want added colors or graphics there is only one choice - "Proposal Pack for Any Business". Otherwise, if your company logo is blue for example, look at the packs with blue colors and logos.
Can you create a custom theme for my business?
Yes. One service we offer is taking your company logo, font and colors and creating for you a custom "Proposal Pack" skin. Your design will be worked into the entire library of thousands of proposal topics. While you can always insert your own logo into the templates, this option takes it to another level by creating a custom graphic and font theme consistent across every one of the pages of your proposal. Click the services link in our web site footer for details.
Can I see a demo?
Yes. We have a demo of the Wizard software as well as samples of the material included in the "Proposal Packs", "Contract Packs" and "Proposal Kit Professional". Just scroll down to the bottom of any page of our web site and click the "Site Map" link then click the "View Demos and Samples" link located in the Information section.
Where do I go to make my purchase?
Purchasing is easy, click any product page and you will see one or two gold buttons at the top. If you want to get both a template product and the discounted wizard creation software click the top button. If you only want a template product without the wizard creation software click the bottom button. The graphic skinned "Proposal Pack" product pages are found by scrolling down the list of "Proposal Packs" and clicking the links to each individual "Proposal Pack" product.

Product Usage Questions
How do I write a "winning" proposal?
The short and simple answer is TRUST. At the heart of any winning proposal you will find the person who accepted the proposal trusted the person who wrote it. Entire books are written about the technical details of how to write proposals, but in the end it boils down to instilling a sense of trust in the person who reads your proposal. Click the "How to Write a Proposal - Tips, Tricks and Best Practices" link in the footer below then read the "It's All About Trust" article for a more detailed discussion of how you can use Proposal Kit to help instill that trust.
What proposals can I write with "Proposal Pack"?
You can write any kind of proposal with your "Proposal Pack". There are many kinds of proposals and just one "Proposal Pack" includes all the material you need. The most common types of proposals are selling services, selling products, creating projects, funding business ventures and applying for grants. You can even write detailed resumes, reports, studies and plans with your "Proposal Pack". We also give you completed samples of all these kinds of proposals.
What are these proposal graphic skins / themes?
"Proposal Pack" skins (or themes) are simply extra colors and graphics we have added to our proposal templates to give them a little extra visual flair. The "Proposal Pack for Any Business" is the unskinned version that has no extra color or graphics added. It is good for government grants or when you want to do all of your own graphic design work. If you want to save time putting the final touches on your proposal get a skinned "Proposal Pack" that compliments your own logo.
What are "pre-written" proposal topics?
Proposal topics are all the different things you need to discuss in your proposal. If you are selling services, your topics will be different than someone selling products, which will be different than the topics to discuss funding a business plan to an investor, which will be different than pitching a project. Each "Proposal Pack" includes an extensive library of thousands of pre-written topics which cover many needs. You select and assemble the topics that apply to your unique situation.
What are examples of these proposal topics?
Each proposal topic can be a chapter in your proposal - or a letter. There are thousands of different topics included, some of the commonly used ones are your Cover Letter, Title Page, Table of Contents, Executive Summary, Needs Assessment, Goals and Objectives, Services Provided, Products, Project Management, Budget, Funding Request, Cost Summary, Benefits, Features, Company History, Qualifications, References, Proposal Follow-up letter and so on.
How do I create quotes, estimate and invoices?
Your "Proposal Pack" includes a wide variety of quote, estimate, invoice, cost summary and many other financial documents. Using a "Proposal Pack" or the Proposal Pack and Wizard software together, just add one of these documents to your project and fill in the details. There are many examples of completed ones that will guide you as well. We also have an option available if you need an enterprise class automated database driven quoting system. Contact us for details.
Can I add my logo and customize it?
Yes you can. Adding your own logo is easy. In fact, our products are completely customizable, you can alter any of the editable documents and your final proposals and contracts as much as you want. Our products do not impose any editing restrictions like other software products do.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
All of our "Proposal Packs", "Contract Packs" and "Proposal Kit Professional" are cross-platform and work on both Mac and Windows as well as Linux. These products are all licensed for use on 1 to 5 computers by 1 to 5 people, so a single license can be installed on both your Mac and Windows computers or on your dual platform computer. Does it work outside of the U.S.?
Yes. Proposal Kit products are used world-wide. While most of our customers are in the United States and Canada many are from around the world. Since most of the final words in the custom tailored parts of your proposal are in your own writing, your proposal will become tailored to your particular area by virtue of your own writing style. Our contracts are based on English law and can be modified by your own local legal professionals.
How do I use it in a foreign language?
Our proposal products are used world-wide. As long as you can read the instructions in English you can use them. We recommend our "Proposal Pack for Any Business" as it is the easiest one to translate. Since you will be writing your proposal in mostly your own words with your own content the end result will naturally be in your own native language. It's not much extra work to translate the smaller sections of text we have pre-written for you.
Do you have the "one" proposal template I need?
Yes. With the extensive library of proposal topics included in your "Proposal Pack" you will assemble your own template that has just the topics you need to discuss and in the order you need to discuss them. Your template for your custom tailored proposal will be just the length you need and will include just the topics you need to discuss. This is one of the keys to writing your winning proposal - you will create your own cohesive and consistently structured proposal.
How do I write a simple one-page proposal?
When all you need to do is show your client how much a job will cost and get their signature on it, a one-page proposal is sometimes the answer. This is easy with "Proposal Pack" as we include documents that can stand alone as one-page proposals. Your one-page proposal is typically a simple proposal and contract rolled into a single page document. Your "Proposal Pack" includes a "Work Order Without Deposit", "Work Order With Deposit" and an "Hourly Services Contract".
How do I write a detailed proposal?
"Proposal Pack" includes many topics for many proposal situations and you will find a template for every topic you need to discuss in your "Proposal Pack". Start by defining your proposal type, such as services sales, product sales, grant writing, project development, business plan funding and so on. Then look at your sample proposals and find one similar to use as a guide. Select your templates based on the sample and assemble your proposal, fill in the blanks and deliver.

Other General Questions
What's the difference between the Packs and Wizard?
A "Proposal Pack" or "Contract Pack" - as well as the Professional proposal and contract bundle - are collections of editable documents and samples. These packs are the products you will use to write your own proposals and contracts. The Wizard software is a program that works with Microsoft Word that helps speed up and automates your use of the Proposal and Contract Packs.
What's the difference between a pack and a kit?
Pack and kit are just two interchangeable words both meaning a package or collection of material. All of the products we call "Proposal Packs" are collections of proposal templates and sample proposals. All of the products we call "Contract Packs" are collections of legal documents. We also bundle up the most popular "Proposal Packs" and "Contract Packs" into a steeply discounted package we call "Proposal Kit Professional".
What's the difference between templates and samples?
Our templates are editable documents covering all the topics you need to discuss in your proposal. We have pre-written an extensive library of topics for you with text and instructions for use in any word processor. Sample proposals are the final results of other people having used the templates to create their detailed proposals. We also give you this extensive library of sample proposals as guides to help you write your own proposals all included in each "Proposal Pack".
What's the difference between proposals and contracts?
Typically your proposal is your initial offer and includes additional information to help persuade your reader to purchase your services or product or fund your project or business. Your contract is typically the legal document you sign with the reader once the initial proposal has been accepted. Depending on the situation your proposal and contract can be combined together or they may be separate. Our proposal and contract products cover all of these situations for you.
Where can I compare products side by side?
Scroll down to the bottom of any page of our web site and click the "Site Map" link. Then click the "Product comparison charts" link in the Information section. You can see matrices that show in fine detail the exact differences between all of our products.
Why is there so much included?
Most proposals average 5 to 15 pages long. Because we have tens of thousands of customers - just like you - around the world in all industries writing everything from service and product sales proposals to government grants it requires a lot of material to cover each of your individual needs. "Proposal Packs" are designed and priced with this in mind. We make the choice for you easier by including everything for everyone in a single, affordable "Proposal Pack".
What are "Estimate Pack" and "Project Management Pack"?
"Estimate Pack" is a large collection of estimate spreadsheets. "Project Management Pack" is a large collection of material for planning and managing projects. These collections of material are only included in the "Proposal Kit Professional" bundle. This estimate and project management material helps you estimate project costs, conduct interviews to define projects and helps keep your projects on track.
How do the contract documents work together?
"Contract Pack" is more than just a collection of individual documents. Many of the documents in your "Contract Pack" are designed to be used with the other documents. An example would be using pre-project documents to protect your proposal, then using the primary contract to sign the deal, then as the project changes or is completed, use the various change and sign off documents. If there are any problems along the way, there are documents to use for those situations as well.
How do I get started after ordering?
